We would like to introduce you to AVIS Libya, a Libyan registered company, being the official licensee for AVIS within the Libyan territory. As an integral part of the AVIS Worldwide Network and forming officially part of the “AVIS Middle East and Gulf Region”, AVIS Libya continuously strives to achieve the high standards of quality, safety, personnel investment and integrity expected from the largely international business community present in Libya.

AVIS Libya, as a fully-fledged licensee of AVIS Europe, has been operating in Libya for the last fifteen years and offers the following three distinct products with a wide variety of vehicle makes and models (including, executive vehicles, four by four wheel drive vehicles, and light commercials):

• Short Term Vehicle Rentals (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) with an Avis Driver, or on Self-Drive basis;
• Long Term Vehicle Leasing (For periods starting from 1 year and over);
• Airport to Hotel (and vice-versa) “Meet and Greet” Service and “Point-to-Point” Transfers in Chauffeur Driven Vehicles and Vans; driven by Avis-uniformed, English-speaking personnel.

Having been active in Libya for the past sixteen (16) years, AVIS Libya is fully aware of the potential for further rapid expansion of ground transport services within the Libyan territory, in view of increased business growth in the region and the peculiarities of this particular market. In this scenario it is our ultimate goal to provide the international business community with an on-going reliable and timely chauffeur-driven service for short-term rentals (less than one year) and “point-to-point” transfers and, a professional, flexible and competitive service for long-term leasing (more than one year), backed-up by the “full maintenance lease” concept.
